Welcome to the soaring world of the Severn Valley Federation, where passion takes flight and champions are bred.

The Severn Valley Federation is based in Gloucester with 5 member clubs ranging from Redditch down to the Bristol area.

Our radius is between longitudes 1.35.00W and 3.00.00W and between a line of the original M4 motorway in the south and latitude 52.24.54.90N plus any fancier with a BS postcode who is a member of Wraxall Flying Club and any member flying within the radius of Redditch RPC.

We are a forward thinking Federation and our priority is to obtain the best experience and most economic racing for our members as well as bringing the fun back into the sport.

2026 subs are £35 per loft. Our members have three payment options for racing:-

We are holding our upfront payments for 2026 at 2025 prices. To send an unlimited number of birds to every race in both old and young bird seasons: £240 (this equates to 21 races @ £11.43 per race)

To send 15 birds to every race in both old and young bird seasons: £105 (£5.00 per race).

For any birds over this limit you will pay .90p per bird.

However, you don’t have to make any upfront payment and can send as many or as little birds you want for .90p per bird.

For those wishing to fly a little further we have one old bird race from Truro plus three old bird races and one young bird race from Guernsey. The Guernsey birds will be transported by the Heart of England Federation. The Guernsey races are not included in the upfront payment.
